Advanced Text Formatting Techniques

Text is probably the most common element on PowerPoint slides. You already know how to format the text with bullets, bold, italics, and colors. This video shows some advanced techniques such as having multiple alignments/formats in the same text box, how to break a line properly, how to use the format painter to save time, how to make text part of a shape and why you would want to do that, and how to use some of the detailed text formatting settings to fit text into a shape. Click the Full Screen button in the lower right of the video to make it as large as your screen so it is easier to see the step-by-step instructions.
