| How
Dave Will
Contribute To Your Meeting
At your next
conference or meeting, you want sessions that will be well attended and
get
rave reviews. I
understand that and work
with you to create a session that is considered by attendees to be one
of the
most practical, valuable sessions they have attended.
Here
are four
reasons I hear from meeting planners as to why my session is valuable to them:
-
My
topic area of creating and delivering effective
PowerPoint presentations applies to almost all the attendees at their
meeting,
regardless of specialty or practice area since almost everyone has to
make
presentations to get ideas approved or report status.
This broad appeal draws attendees and makes
this session a well-attended one.
- I
deliver practical advice that can be
immediately applied on the job, making the session (and your meeting)
one that
attendees remember as helpful and valuable.
- I
customize my material in the session
so
that the attendees learn about topics that are most important to them
and see
their own slides used as “makeover” examples,
cementing the learning by seeing
it applied to their own situations.
- I
deliver the material in an
entertaining
way, so attendees have a good time.
Formats of my
Sessions
Pre- or
Post-Conference
Workshop - This half-day or full day in-depth format is ideal for
continuing
education credits that also immediately boost job performance and
professionalism. With
broad appeal,
these sessions are well attended and generate profits for your
association.
Concurrent
Breakout Session - The 60-90 minute breakout session gives attendees
key ideas
and tips they can use right away.
It can
be focused on topics that are of greatest importance to the group.
General Session
-
The 45-60 minute general session shows attendees how they can improve
their
presentations with a few key changes.
A
valuable combination is to have a more detailed breakout session
following a
general session for maximum learning.
Web Training
Session - A 60 minute webinar can be a great way to offer continuing
education
to association members. This
service can
also be a good revenue source for an association.
